Yellowstone Club’s Food & Beverage department is currently seeking candidates for an Assistant F&B Manager.

 The purpose of the Assistant F&B Manager position is to assist in management of the daily operation of the assigned Yellowstone Club restaurant outlet, including the selection, development and performance manager of employees. 

Responsibilities Include:  

  •  Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Club’s policies, procedures and applicable laws;
  •  Interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  •  Ensure that each member and guest receives outstanding guest service in a guest friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every member and guest, maintaining outstanding service standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of guest service.
  •  Empowered to guarantee total guest satisfaction, display hospitality and professionalism to our guests at all times, take pride in representing Yellowstone Club professionally with our members and guests and assure that all transactions with guests are handled in a legal and ethical manner.
  •  Understand and apply all property safety and security procedures to maintain a secure and safe environment for employees, members, and guests at all times.  In the event of an accident or emergency, seek medical attention if necessary and contact the General Manager or Human Resources immediately.
  •  Maintain a favorable working relationship with all company employees to foster and promote a positive working environment.
  •  Manage the restaurant in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.
  •    Assist in making the final decisions on matters of importance to Member experience and employee management.
  •   Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas.
  •   Ensure positive Member service in all areas; Respond to complaints, taking any and all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied Members into return Members.

 

Position Requirements:

  •  High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course work
  •   3+ years of work-related skill, knowledge and experience; proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant functions: food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, company policies and procedures, personnel management, recordkeeping, and preparation of reports.
  •  Preferred bachelor degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management; Certification through Court of Master Sommeliers or similar certifying beverage program; TIPS certified.
  •   Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
