Assistant Housekeeping Manager


Description
The purpose of the Assistant Housekeeping Manager is to assist the Housekeeping Managers with all responsibilities included in leading a first class housekeeping team. It is the duty of the Assistant Housekeeping Manager to aid the Housekeeping Mangers in overseeing the overall operation of the department, and the day-to-day implementation of those policies, procedures and programs that will assure a well-managed, well-maintained residence within established management, operating and fiscal policies. The ability to effectively communicate with home owners and members of other departments critical.

Major Responsibilities
• Ensure that each Member and guest receives outstanding service in a friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every Member and guest, maintaining outstanding service standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of guest service.
• Empowered to guarantee total Member satisfaction, display hospitality and professionalism to our Members at all times, take pride in representing Yellowstone Club professionally with our Members and guests and assure that all transactions are handled in a legal and ethical manner.
• Understand and apply all property safety and security procedures to maintain a secure and safe environment for team members, Members, and guests at all times. In the event of an accident or emergency, seek medical attention if necessary and contact the Assistant General Manager or Human Resources immediately.
• Maintain a favorable working relationship with all Yellowstone Club team members to foster and promote a positive working environment.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. • Assist the Housekeeping Managers with managing all operations of the Housekeeping department
• Provide training, coaching and counseling to all housekeeping employees
• Participate in the recruitment, vetting, and onboarding of all new hires
• Effectively take direction from Housekeeping Managers and Executive Housekeeper
• Create and edit monthly, weekly and daily schedules for the entire team ensuring both operational and financial responsibilities are being met to both the club and membership.
• Assist Housekeeping Managers in ensuring that assignment sheets are organized and uploaded ensuring revenue optimization through our billing process
• Lead regular inspections of the homes with a critical eye to ensure adherence to our cleanliness and operating standards while maintaining owner preferences
• Clean private homes at a level that meets the highest standards in the Hospitality industry
• Oversee staff to ensure crews are utilizing department practices for consistency and efficiency
• Cultivate and maintain quality relationships with other departments, owners, renters and vendors to ensure positive current and future business.
• Converse with the Membership and guests in a hospitable and professional manner

Experience/Education Required
• High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course work
• 2 years plus of supervisory experience in housekeeping or janitorial fields; hospitality setting desired, but not required
• Intermediate level of Microsoft Office systems
