Public Areas/Lodgekeeping Assistant Manager


Description
Purpose: The purpose of the Public Areas/Lodgekeeping Assistant Manager is to supervise and lead staff in cleaning of community buildings on Yellowstone Club property, perform office duties including but not limited to payroll, ordering, scheduling, meeting with other departments etc.

Essential Job Functions:

• Provide assistance to Lodgekeeping manager by supervising the Lodgekeeping staff.
• Assists with the directing, planning, and organization of team members to ensure the highest degree of guest
satisfaction.
• Interact with the public with a cheerful and positive attitude, solve guest problems and complaints in a proper manner,
and maintain harmonious working relationships with fellow employees.
• Prepare schedules for the staff ensuring all sections are covered.
• Routinely inspects and evaluates conditions of facilities, equipment and furnishings and submits to management
recommendations for painting, repair, replacement, or relocation of same.

Other Duties and Responsibilities
• Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established Club policies,
procedures, and standards of service to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
• Meet departmental productivity, organization, punctuality/attendance and consistency standards.
• Treat Members, guests, vendors, customers and co-workers with professionalism and respect at all times.
• Exerts a positive influence on all club personnel through leadership skills, an upbeat personality, and by always
attempting to enhance the guest's visit.
• Maintain privacy of our Members at all time.
• Maintain a clean and neat appearance at all times.
• Communicate regularly and effectively with all employees, supervisors, managers and directors.
• Project a favorable image of Yellowstone Club to Members and guests at all times.
• Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays. Long hours may be
required due to business demands.
• Coordinates maintenance and repair to all laundry ad Lodgekeeping equipment; submits work orders for all repairs and
immediately report any broken door locks or safety hazards to management for immediate attention.
• Establishes and monitors a safe working environment for staff, promoting a safe and secure facility for guests.
• Knowledge of OSHA and safety standards along with maintaining the proper MSDS (material safety data sheets) sheets
within the Lodgekeeping Department.
• Assists in the establishment of standards of operation for each area and plans, develops and conducts training for
employees to ensure these standards are met.
• Assists in the establishment of monitoring control methods to ensure that budget objectives are met such as inventories,
reviews of payroll, staff levels and supply orders.
• Conducts and oversee complete regularly scheduled inspections to ensure adherence to cleanliness and maintenance of
standards.
• Assists with managing the requests for new employees, interviewing, training and ongoing development of the
Lodgekeeping staff with an eye toward maximum employee satisfaction, retention, productivity and guest satisfaction.
• Conducts monthly/weekly meetings with all employees communicating pertinent information and notifying staff of
upcoming events while also soliciting feedback and providing written reviews to the Lodgekeeping Manager.
• Attends training seminars, conferences, schools and meetings as directed to continually develop personal knowledge of
hospitality operations.

Experience/Education Required
High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course work
2+ years working as a Lodgekeeping/Housekeeping Supervisor
