Snowsports Race Crewmember


Description
The purpose of a Snowsports Race Crewmember is to manage, maintain and organize the race equipment, host daily races for Members and guests, set up special event races during the season and be responsible for safety during the race and tear down after the event.

• Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times.
• Set-up and tear down race course including but not limited to gates, timing, and signs
• Test course during day to insure a quality race surface
• Set netting as needed to insure the safety in appropriate areas on course
• Deliver a race course on a daily basis that represents the average racer on the mountain on a given day
• Work to understand course setting techniques as well as knowing the different disciplines
• Be available during day to assist with other duties as needed including but not limited to keeping our locker-room clean
• Communicate all concerns, questions, and scheduling conflicts with manager/supervisor
• Carry a charged cell phone at all times to communicate with ski patrol, snow desk, supervisors, and other staff as needed
