Winter 2020/2021 Equipment and Snowplow Operator
Description
Yellowstone Club’s Development department is currently seeking candidates for an Equipment & Snowplow Operator.
The Equipment Operator is responsible for operation and routine maintenance of equipment and performing manual labor tasks for the Yellowstone Club property. The Operator runs various types of equipment such as heavy and light snowplow trucks, dump trucks, water truck, excavator, motor grader, backhoe, forklift, lowboy, wheel loader, tractor, and additional similar equipment. The Equipment Operator performs other construction and manual labor related duties.
Responsibilities Include:
• Ensure machine or truck is inspected and ready to operate daily
• Plow/remove snow with trucks and/or various machines
• Be aware of common problem areas
• Perform minor daily and routine maintenance of trucks and machines
• Report any unsafe conditions
• Report any damage to trucks, machines, or property
• General knowledge of machine
• General knowledge of property/roads
• Safely and efficiently operate snow removal equipment
• Daily and routine maintenance of machine
Position Requirements:
• High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course work
• Valid Driver’s License
• Preferred experience operating light and heavy equipment
• Be able to work weekends and holidays as needed (these are our busiest times)
• Be able to work outside in inclement weather and adverse conditions
• Ability to work efficiently alone or with a team
• Adhere to safety practices
• Adhere to early morning start time
