Description
The management team at Zinc are a cohesive group of individuals that instill a cohesive brand image, a sense of community and encourage quality & pride in not only the food but the staff that it employees.

Our managers oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. They are required to engage with with customers and be on their feet most of the shift. Zinc managers are responsible for maintaining the restaurant’s revenue, profitability and quality goals. You will ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need management skills and experience in both front and back of the house. We want you to know how to oversee the dining room, check-in with customers and balance seating capacity. Back of the house management experience is also essential, as you’ll work directly with cooks and wait staff, set work schedules, oversee food quality & presentation and make sure we comply with health and safety restaurant regulations.
We’ll expect you to lead by example and uplift our staff during busy moments in our fast-paced environment. Ultimately, you will ensure our restaurant runs smoothly and customers have pleasant dining experiences.
Hours of operation differ between each Zinc location. Applicants are expected to have open/flexible availability.

Qualifications
The Ideal Candidate will:
Have a minimum of three years’ experience as a Manager for high quality food service or retail provider; with superior customer service standards and/or related experience and training.
Consistently demonstrate performance that embodies Zinc’s Vision, Mission and Values.
Carry a friendly, energetic, personable demeanor and have a passion for great customer service, with a customer-first and quality-focused mentality.
Carry themselves professionally, be agile and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
Be able to work quickly, embrace and learn new information, multi-task and incorporate feedback into personal performance.
Have strong time-management and delegation skills Be extremely reliable and punctual.
Possess good problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
Exhibit a strong focus on quality with an interest in learning more about Zinc.
Enjoy working in a team-environment and building great relationships with their coworkers.
Have the ability to perform various physical tasks during the work shift.
Ability to exercise heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
Walking and standing for long periods of time.
