U.S. Stock & Inventory Controller


Description

Job Purpose   

To assist and support the restaurants with the day to day running and ongoing administration of recipe and stock systems.  Ensuring stock and management figures are accurate and true.

Objectives & Goals

Ensure seamless and holistic operations of the systems across the Azumi brands.  And to provide accurate and clean data for analysis and review. 

Key responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for any stock queries
  • Work closely with the purchasing team and restaurant staff to ensure accurate data
  • Complete regular clean-ups of the systems to maintain accurate data
  • Support the restaurant staff in receiving goods into the stock system and recording invoices, including training of members of staff on these processes
  • Verifying and resolving cost discrepancies, (apart from credits which should be done at site level)
  • Helping sites with Invoice reconciliation when required
  • Helping sites with stock reconciliation queries
  • Supervising and/or attending stock counts and requesting recounts where necessary
  • Conducting spot checks
  • Analyzing stock reconciliation data
  • Liaising and communicating with restaurant staff on stock reconciliation results
  • Adjusting recipes based on information from restaurant staff and yield tests.
  • Yield and cost trend analysis for premium products
  • Monitoring holding stock value, stock rotation and re-order levels
  • Communicating with external accountancy firm
  • Updating existing recipes and creating new recipes in conjunction with the restaurants
  • Streamline communications between restaurants and purchasing support team
  • Verify and correct data where necessary
  • Cross checking and monitoring integrity of data between EPOS and Inventory systems
  • Conducting reconciliation of menu prices back to EPOS
  • Supporting the restaurants in adhering to SOPs in a timely and efficient manner


Key skills required

  • Previous experience with stock and recipe management software preferable
  • Previous hospitality experience, an advantage
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Numerical literacy
  • Previous experience working with large sets of data
  • Effective communication
  • To be flexible in your approach, work as a team player and to carry out any other tasks as reasonably requested to do so
