JOB PURPOSE:

The purpose of the role is to assist the sushi team in the preparation and maintenance of the sushi section, to ensure adherence with the Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations and brand standards.

MAIN DUTIES:

  • Ensure that the sushi section is fully prepared for mis en place before the service.
  • Assist with controlling and minimising food waste.
  • Drive own development and work towards a full understanding of all parts of sushi section, as well as other sections of the kitchen.
  • Prepare food items as required and in line with our brand standards.
  • Ensure that operating and kitchen equipment is used and maintained to a good standard, with minimum breakage.
