DOWNTOWN RESTAURANT/BAR SEEKS BAR/FLOOR MANAGER WITH NIGHTLIFE EXPERIENCE
compensation: Commensurate with skill set and experience, industry trends

We expect this person to be an asset on the floor and direct/manage the flow of efficient, informed, intuitive and courteous service to all guests. The establishment also has a busy late night bar downstairs, club/bar management experience is a must.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant to achieve optimum profit and ensure the highest quality of service possible.
Maintain all training materials, policies and steps of service.
Recruit the best possible staff for all roles: oversee all employee matters in the restaurant including HR issues, scheduling, payroll, disciplinary procedures, terminations.
Build relationships with the restaurant guests and handles guest complaints efficiently.
Control the level of sales, costs, quality and presentation of food and beverage products, service standards, guest satisfaction, condition and cleanliness of the restaurant and its equipment.
Monitor the inventory of all materials such as PPD, smallwares, and food/beverage product.
Conduct daily pre-service meetings, set up and runs all other regularly scheduled meetings and as needed meetings.
Ensure restaurant is DOH compliant at all times.
Manage DJs, Door, Security and late night bar operations for downstairs bar/lounge.
Keep aware of trends, systems, practices, and equipment related to the hospitality industry.
Perform related duties and special projects as assigned.
You will be needed to work long potentially late hours in a fast paced, high energy, creative environment amongst interesting and intelligent people.
