Head Bartender (Sunday & Monday off)


Description

South Place Hotel is a luxury five-star hotel in the City of London; boutique, luxurious and fresh-faced.

Angler Restaurant - Our Native coasts rich and plentiful bounty of Fish, Shellfish & Crustacea, will form the principal elements of the menu.

Role: We are looking for a passionate Head Bartender who can confidently deliver exceptional 5-star service.


DEPARTMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks

·         To be responsive to any consumer request proactively and to anticipate needs

·         To assist with and input into the drink’s menu creation; ensuring the offering is always relevant and innovative.

·         Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age

·         To provide a quick and efficient service 

·         Be forward thinking and innovative when it comes to ways of working and best practice.

·         Encourage and support your team to focus on revenue growth and upselling opportunities that enhance our guest’s experiences.

·         Monitor and maintain proper inventory for the whole hotel to ensure it is in line with budgeted cost of sales.

·         To be an ambassador for South Place Hotel and Angler as well as a strong leader who embodies our values and commitment to our teams

·         To ensure that all liquor stock levels are maintained and correct ordering procedures are carried out.

·         To ensure the bar area is kept clean and tidy at all times according to H&S standards;

·         To monitor standards and supply of all bar equipment, ensuring management team are aware of any needs

·         To be fully aware of current legislation regarding hygiene, licensing laws, weights and measures as they apply to the restaurant.

·         To inform managers of any complaints / comments / perceived issues but to prevent or to foresee those

·         To follow the order of service for the bar and the terrace
