Security Manager
*** Open interviews will be held every Monday & Thursday in August from 2 - 7 pm at The Grand - 58 Seaport Blvd, Boston MA, 02210.
Big Night Entertainment Group is seeking a security manager to oversee its Boston venues. BNEG operates some of the hottest, cutting edge restaurants and nightclubs in New England and is rapidly expanding. We are an employee focused company; career advancement and growth opportunities will be present. The security manager will oversee a staff of about 75 across five nightclub/lounges. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing excellent hospitality and fostering an upbeat, fun and safe environment. This is a great opportunity for those looking to grow in the hospitality industry.
The Security Manager’s responsibilities will include:
• Supervising assigned work areas
• Coaching staff onsite in situation handling, hospitality and operations
• Providing information to guests in a courteous manner
• Managing large crowds in busy, fast-paced environments
• Executing staff trainings
• Ensuring all safety/response policies and procedures are understood and followed
• Providing incident reports and follow ups when necessary
• Maintaining an upbeat and fun work environment with a professional demeanor
• Promoting Big Night Entertainment Group in a positive manner
• Overseeing scheduling and providing input where needed
• Review and monitor video coverage as needed
• Oversee multiple venues and security staff
• Calmly and effectively deescalating situations in accordance with BNEG standard
The ideal candidate will have:
• Nightclub security and management experience
• A clean and professional appearance
• Exemplary guest service skills
• Organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to be on their feet for extended periods of time
• Open availability and flexibility as you will be required to be on site for any major events

• TIPS certification
• Ability to lift 50+
