Bluestone Lane is an Australian inspired, primarily New York based café and coffee brand (but fast expanding around the US!) that makes a difference to our Locals' daily ritual, every day. With a keen attention to detail, quality and service we are looking for the best in the business to join our team. Bluestone Lane is seeking energetic and dedicated Prep/Line Cooks. The ability to work in a dynamic team environment, multitask, and effectively communicate is essential. Most importantly, our staff require a passion for food, creativity and providing great hospitality experiences. Prior food preparation experience and/or food knowledge is required. Successful applicants must have worked in a fast-paced environment.

The Prep/Line Cook is responsible for prepping, cooking and assembling a variety of food products and meals, complying with all applicable sanitation, health and personal hygiene standards and following established food production processes and procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Executing all aspects of food service - preparing, cooking and portioning
- Ensuring you are serving creative and well presented food to guests
- Work efficiently in a fast paced restaurant environment
- Clearly communicating with kitchen staff, porters, floor staff, baristas and managers
- Creating a hospitable atmosphere of professionalism, integrity and efficiency
- Maintain a clean working environment

Skills and Qualifications:
- A high level of hospitality skills and desire to provide great service
- Strong communication skills
- Extensive food handling skills
- Department of Health License or be willing to obtain one
