One of Orange County's favorite all-day restaurants is seeking a General Manager to lead the team. The restaurant prides themselves on providing a laid-back, family-friendly environment while serving up the highest quality menu items made with the freshest ingredients. The 21-and-over crowd can also enjoy a nice selection of craft beer, wine, and cocktails.
Seeking a General Manager who is a true leader and has the ability to mentor a younger staff. The majority of the team is in the 18 to early 20s range and the GM must be a patient manager. The GM will work a 5 day, 50 hour work week, with two days off mid-week. Additional requirements:
• Minimum of 3-5 years restaurant management experience in a similar role
• Can create a fun, positive environment and a culture of integrity and respect
• Committed to leading by example
• High energy and the ability to mentor, develop, and delegate appropriately
• An excellent communicator
• Will ensure exceptional guest service
• Must have a strong operational background, with full working knowledge of P&L, payroll, and SOPs
• Will balance the needs of the guests and staff with the goals of the business, ensuring profitability
• Is extremely detail oriented with high standards of cleanliness and safety
