Our chef-driven vegan menu features locally-sourced ingredients in their most natural form to create inspired dishes, made 100% by us daily. Our goal is to provide fast, healthy and affordable meal options for anyone interested in eating more vegetables without compromising taste or satisfaction.

Our Front-of-House Team Member is responsible for educating our guests, and providing a world-class experience by adhering to these responsibilities:

• Abide by company policy and procedures set forth in the Welcome Guide & to the Steps of Service
• Show up on time, being in uniform and clocked in for your scheduled shift
• Come to work with a positive, can-do attitude
• Maintain your composure with guests, co-workers and supervisors at all times
• Work with your other co-workers to cover each of the following stations:

Cashier, which includes, (but not limited to):
♣ Ensure each guest is greeted with “Welcome to DEZ. How may I help you today?”
♣ Provide guests with accurate, up-to-date information about DEZ, and know the food & beverage menus inside and out
♣ Communicate any allergies or special requests clearly and promptly to the kitchen
♣ Demonstrate proper use of the POS
♣ Be accountable for your POS station, making sure the area in front of you is tidy and without any clutter
♣ Clean and maintain supplies behind the counter and at the register area

Bar/Barista, which includes, (but not limited to):
♣ Maintain a clean, organized, and well stocked work station
♣ Know how to open and close the bar, goodies and soft serve station
♣ Be ready to accurately prepare and serve all soft serve, goodies, wine, beer, coffee and tea
♣ Control costs by: taking accurate inventories, limiting waste, pouring drinks at proper levels, and ensuring that all waste is being recorded
♣ Ensure that all drinks are delivered to the correct customer

Expo/Pass, which includes, (but not limited to):
♣ Communicate with Chef/Kitchen Manager regarding completed orders
♣ Efficiently wrap up all to-go orders, making sure all items on receipt are in the bag
♣ Use guests’ name from receipt when addressing guests
♣ Hand out all orders to guests, and always thank all guests for their patronage
♣ Anticipate the needs of guests and exceed their expectations

Floor Assistant, which includes, (but not limited to):
♣ Keep dining room organized and neat: collect all dirty trays move them to their proper locations; keep items neatly stocked, such as napkins, water cups, etc.
♣ When removing a tray from a guest always smile and ask “May I remove this?” “How was your meal?”
♣ Empty garbage when needed
♣ Observe the dining room, and anticipate the needs of guests and exceed their expectations
♣ Re-fill grab and go as needed
♣ Check bathroom for cleanliness and stocks of supplies
♣ Sweep restaurant floor as needed
♣ Always thank all guests for their patronage as you see them leave

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• 1 year customer service experience is strongly preferred
• Food + Beverage experience is a plus, but not needed for the right candidate that is willing to learn!
• Act professional and hospitable at all times
• Ability to maintain knowledge of the food and beverage menus, to be able to effectively communicate and answer customer
questions
• Adhere to all schedules (weekly work schedule, side work schedule, weekly cleaning tasks) in a timely manner
• Maintain your composure with guests, co-workers, and supervisors at all times
