AI / Data Science Engineer

Harri is looking for an AI / Data Science Engineer with at least 2 years of experience in the AI / Data Science and Software Development fields to join our team. 

As an AI / Data Science Engineer you will be challenged to help build and optimize our AI-powered services for our workforce OS platform for the hospitality and retail industries while contributing to the overall culture, performance, and integrity of our established team.

You will be preparing Data Sets, evaluating existing AI processes, performing statistical analysis to detect and resolve data set problems, and enhancing the accuracy of our AI models. Also, you will be asked to maintain a hygiene and reliable Data Structure and Object Oriented Programming, and develop APIs.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Have exceptional mathematical and statistical skills. 

• Have excellent data observation and analytical skills; Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly, ggplot.

• Have hands-on experience in developing data products using Python.

• Can verify the quality of data.

• Have solid experience in data extraction and feature engineering techniques using Python Pandas.

• Have comprehensive and deep knowledge of ML algorithms, frameworks, libraries, data structures, data modeling, and software architecture; scikit-learn, PyTorch, Keras, Tensorflow.

• Can verify the quality of trained models; evaluation metrics, confusion matrix and validation curves.

• Have practical NLP experience using embedding and attention-based models.

• Can collaborate with data engineers to build data and model pipelines.

• Can convert machine learning models into APIs; using Python Django and Flask frameworks.

• Can test and deploy models to Production.

• Can well communicate and explain processes/services to product managers and any not-technical experts.

• Can research and implement best practices to improve the existing models in terms of algorithms and/or infrastructure.

• Have a keen sense of the importance of Object-Oriented development and design patterns.

• Have proven work experience in SQL and relational databases.

• Experience with GIT repositories.

• Experience with AWS components especially EC2, S3, SageMaker is a great plus.

Requirements:

• BA Degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, or a related field.

• Professional team player with ability to work under pressure.

• Ability to conduct code reviews.

• Ability to participate effectively and proactively in solutions’ designs and problem solving.

• Contribute to the overall culture of the company.
