Position Description

We are looking for a Data Product Manager who will be responsible for building and managing data-driven products, ensuring that data is transformed into valuable insights and solutions that drive business growth. They sit at the intersection of product management, data science, and business strategy, requiring both technical expertise and strong communication skills.


Role and Responsibilities 

Typical duties and responsibilities for a Product Manager position may include but not limited to: 

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Define the roadmap for data products (dashboards, APIs, analytics platforms).

  • Align product goals with business objectives and customer needs.

Data Management

  • Ensure data quality, accessibility, and usability across systems.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design scalable data pipelines.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with data scientists, analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders.

  • Translate complex data requirements into actionable product features.

  • Ability to communicate and work well with others.

  • Check in with your line manager and update on your progress.

User-Centric Design

  • Identify how data can improve customer experience and decision-making.

  • Prioritize features based on impact and feasibility.

Performance & Metrics

  • Define KPIs for data products and monitor adoption.

  • Continuously optimize based on feedback and usage patterns.

  • Ability to deliver on time keeping a high quality of work.


What do you need to know and to have? 


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in product management, preferably in a technology-driven organization.

  • Strong understanding of product management methodologies, processes, and best practices.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to gather and analyze market and user data to make informed product decisions.

  • Experience with agile development methodologies and cross-functional teamwork.

  • Roadmap planning, backlog prioritization, and agile methodologies.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities

  • Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and user-centered design approaches.

  • Passion for technology and innovation, with a strong customer focus.

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.

  • Good verbal and written English communication skills.

  • Understanding of machine learning and analytics concepts

  • Familiarity with SQL, data warehousing, APIs, and cloud platforms is a plus.
