Position Overview:
The Marketing Manager is based in the United Kingdom and will join the Harri
Global Marketing team to drive awareness, consideration, demand generation, pipeline velocity
and revenue growth in support of the EMEA market. They are a market expert who keeps cultural
relevancy and competency at the forefront when working across the globe on marketing
programs. They are a thought partner to both sales and marketing leadership in creating
marketing content and programs that will win hearts, minds and dollars of Harri’s ideal customers.
An expert collaborator and influencer, the ideal candidate will own the relationship with
the EMEA sales team and drive bi-directional communication between sales and marketing
leadership to ensure we are meeting the needs to grow in the EMEA market. Reporting to the VP
of Field Marketing and Operations (based in the United States) , this person will represent
marketing across EMEA to help meet the region’s business objectives and goals.
Marketing Manager will play a key role in designing, implementing and executing marketing
programs and events in the EMEA market with the goal of generating qualified leads and
accelerating the progression of opportunities in the sales pipeline. The Marketing Manager
will be responsible for shaping and executing on the annual event strategy, demand campaigns,
sales enablement and managing account-based marketing initiatives. In addition, the Marketing Manager will be a content creator and adapter of content to make it more relevant for
their market. The candidate will also work with the marketing leadership team to monitor
performance and report on results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate territory planning and execution with sales & marketing stakeholders to
build marketing event and program calendars to increase awareness, consideration,
generate demand, and support pipeline growth and closure.
- Manage all aspects of local event coordination in partnership with the Director of
Corporate Communications and Events including: strategy, objectives materials
creation, event messaging/marketing, signage, giveaways, contract negotiation,
vendor relations, site selection, registration, agenda scheduling, staffing, on-site
production and logistics.
- Manage account-based marketing activities, in partnership with sales and the
demand generation team, including: identifying target accounts, developing strategy,
executing campaigns with the support of cross-functional teams.
- Conduct post-event/campaign evaluations and ROI analysis; report and share
results and recommendations with sales and marketing teams.
- Manage the enablement of the local sales teams on how to maximize new sales
material, content and campaigns in their market and also work closely with product
marketing on enabling the teams to speak to our product value propositions and
understand new product introductions.
- Work closely with product marketing and solution consulting on tailoring and
enabling sellers to deliver incredible demo experiences.
- Research industry events and marketing/campaign opportunities and evaluate
sponsorship based on Harri’s objectives and target audience.
- Maintain event and campaign documents - budgets, calendars, checklists,
run-of-shows, etc.
- Complete quarterly budget reviews and ROI analysis; pivot strategy to align with
findings.
- Achieve benchmarked ROI metrics by working with the sales and demand
generation teams, managing and analyzing campaign data in Salesforce.
- Successfully prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting
deadlines and budgets.
- Provide thought leadership to regional sales team on how to leverage marketing.
- Work hand in hand with marketing colleagues to make sure that the EMEA’s goals
and needs are fully represented and integrated into all marketing plans.
- Localize corporate programs, content, and resources to maximize effectiveness in
local markets.
- Help identify and nurture customers as Harri advocates for use in marketing
programs, and speaking engagements.
- Partner with local HR and business teams to support employer brand and employee
engagement initiatives.
About You: - Based in the United Kingdom with 5-7 years of experience in B2B marketing or sales
enablement; hospitality or HR Technology experience preferred.
- Have a deep understanding of and passion for the hospitality market.
- A keen affinity for data, analytics and ROI measuring of marketing programs.
- Love to collaborate with high performing global teams.
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to prioritize, organize and execute multiple projects
with tight deadlines with a focus on business impact.
- Strong project management skills and highly detail oriented.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
