Analyst – Master Data Management (MDM): 

As we continue to grow across the nation, harnessing the data becomes an even more important and drives our business.  This role will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the MDM platform and ensuring the accuracy of key master data elements used throughout CAVA. 

What You’ll Do:  

  • Work collaboratively with the business teams to understand and collect as well as update master data elements into the MDM platform 
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert across data domains 
  • Maintain master data for internal customers and platforms with data integrity, consistency, accuracy, and timeliness 
  • Be a steward of the master data it’s accuracy and the data rules defined by the Master Data Oversight committee. 
  • Work with the MDM lead to implement processes and workflow 
  • Capture and create training materials 
  • Perform validation and testing of all the integrations to and from the MDM platform. 
  • Dig into the data quality root cause analysis and provide answers 
  • Help champion the effort to implement a best-in-class multi-domain MDM solution. 
  • Lead teams to accomplish priorities and initiatives with the impact for the guest in mind 
  • Effectively communicate goals, priorities, and action items to direct reports; actively give feedback on progress updates 
  • Conduct impactful and meaningful DE&I conversations within team and organization 
  • Create opportunities for Team Members to grow in their roles and progress into higher roles in the organization 
  • Execute effective decision-making skills to led team to succeed 
  • Oversee innovative solutions proposed by direct reports 
  • Maintain emotional stability in stressful situations; lead by example for how our team should handle adversity 
  • Abide by policies and procedures that support the service mindset 
  • Manage timeline expectations within and across teams, deliver on our responsibilities accordingly 
  • Earn the trust of Team Members and Managers by consistently embracing CAVA’s values 
  • Show discipline in bringing consistent performance, communication, and attitude to the job every day 
  • Actively contribute to your department in order to complete tasks and meet company goals 
  • Recognize the emotional stake each Team Member has in personal and organizational success of this business 

The Qualifications: 

  • Multiple years of success with data management.  
  • Success, experience, and knowledge of MDM concepts, benefits, best practices, and challenges 
  • Understand and appreciate the impact of decisions and actions within MDM platform on downstream applications, systems, and the organization. 
  • Basic to Intermediate understanding of SQL and Stored Procedures 
  • Can clearly convey and accurately receive feedback to adjust learn and grow. 
  • Communicate verbally to technical and non-technical audiences and at all levels of the organization in a generous way. 
  • Work smart by setting effective goals, establishing priorities, and planning well to produce quality work, along with the ability to raise issues that may not be as planned. 
  • Display an infectious positive attitude that is emulated by all and helps the team reach beyond. 
  • Restaurant or Retail experience is a plus 
  • Experience with Profisee or TIBCO MDM solutions is a plus 

Physical Requirements:  

  • Ability to maintain stationary position to be able to operate a computer and other office equipment 
  • Must be able to identify, analyze and assess details 
  • For certain positions, must be able to occasionally move or transport items up to 50 pounds 
  • Ability to communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectively 
  • Constantly positions self and move about to support ordinary restaurant or food production support or office operations, as applicable 
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
