Founded by Jae Kim in 2010, Chi'Lantro started as a food truck fueled by people sharing a similar set of core values which continue to empower and drive us forward today. Every day, we strive to provide exceptional customer service, great quality food in a clean environment.

We are serving customers in 7 restaurant locations (and counting!) where you can find our world renowned The Original Kimchi Fries™.

About Us
We are an entrepreneurial company established in 2010, inspiring the way people eat and think
about Korean BBQ. world famous for being the original maker of The Kimchi Fries. Chi’Lantro
started out on a food truck, which has now turned into multi-chain restaurant operations and
catering business in Austin, Texas. We have been featured in Food and Wine, Cooking Channel,
Food Network, and won a deal on ABC’s Shark Tank in 2016.

Summary: The FOH Lead is the key link in our pursuit of quality, consistency and teamwork. We will rely on our Leads to uphold the highest level of guest service as well as be a leader to your fellow teammates. FOH Lead responsibilities include all Server responsibilities plus assisting the FOH Manager and General Manager with operational needs.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure all guests receive superior service
Handle guest complaints and resolve them according to Chi’Lantro standards
Uphold standards of cleanliness and organization
Maintain a stock of supplies and service items, consult with GM to reorder when needed
Follow proper money-handling procedures
Assist with operational matters based on FOH Manage and GM’s needs
Touch tables, greet guests, run food, take orders, practice proper table maintenance (pre-bussing/clearing)
Supervise team sidework duties and delegate tasks as needed
Organize tip pool and allocation, use void/comp functions in accordance with company policies
Obey house rules and safety procedures, correct and train staff when safety rules are broken or not understood
Assist General Manager in developing and executing new hire training programs
Execute catering orders and caterings for special events

Skills/Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills
Understanding of genuine hospitality
Familiar and comfortable with POS Operations
Food Handler’s Permit and TABC Certified

Physical Requirements:
Moderate standing, carrying, bending, stretching, stooping, pulling/pushing, lifting of weigh up to 50 lbs.

Working Conditions:
Noise, heat, temperature changes, kitchen elements, odors, moisture, prolonged standing.
May be required to work additional hours as dictated by the workload and staffing.
Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
