Catering Truck Driver

Job Summary:

The Chi’Lantro Truck Driver/Support member is responsible for driving the catering truck in a safe manner, correctly and accurately packing and serving pre-ordered meals as well as maintaining the cleanliness of the truck all to ensure an excellent customer experience. Must uphold core pillars in an event environment.

 Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Driving the food truck to and from neighborhood events.

• Alphabetize all invoices by first name after completing packaging and prior to departure.

• Maintain proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.

•  Follow Chi’Lantro guidelines of personal hygiene and comply with company standards per the dress code that was signed at orientation.

•  During service, greet guests, get first and last name, serve packaged food, have the signature box on invoice completed and signed, sanitize pens and any surfaces touched by customers with the sanitizer provided on the truck.

• Completing the Zenput Neighborhood Truck Form

• Ensure all guests receive great customer service.

• Maintain a minimum of 20 pens, 2 clipboards, 1 sanitizer, 1 box of gloves and 2 towels.

• Maintain truck cleanliness, safety, and gasoline.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Ability to safely drive and maneuver the catering truck on inter city roads and highways.

• Must be able to read, write and speak English with high level of proficiency

•  Food Handler’s Certification Required within 60 days of hire

 Physical Requirements:

• Moderate standing, carrying, bending, stretching, stooping, pulling/pushing, lifting of weights up to 50 lbs.

Working Conditions:

•  Noise, high heat, temperature changes, kitchen elements, odors, moisture, prolonged standing.

•  May be required to work additional hours as dictated by the workload and staffing.

•  Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
