This is a great opportunity for an individual with experience in a high-volume recruitment role for hospitality and live entertainment opportunities. This position is a full-time benefits eligible role and is based in-house out of our corporate HQ offices located in New York City, New York.


Job Summary

The Recruiter plays an integral role in the organization’s growth by understanding the needs of hiring managers and sourcing the best talent to fill open positions. They are responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing and supporting the fulfillment of open positions. This position also plays an essential role in developing initiatives in support of building the candidate pipeline, attracting qualified workforce talent, creating recruitment partnerships and successfully executing suitable placements for positions.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a high-volume, fast paced management recruitment role preferably in a hospitality setting
  • Extraordinary EQ skills and ability to match candidates to compatible roles
  • High level of empathy and innate love for connecting with people
  • Able to deliver results, meet deadlines and targets
  • Computer proficiency including knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), recruiting websites, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Human Resource Information System (HRIS).
  • Ability to perform, work with a sense of urgency as well as maintain professional composure under pressure
  • Strong business acumen and market insight
  • Effective negotiation, influencing and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • High level of work ethic, integrity and confidentiality
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with hiring managers of all levels
  • Exceptional organization, follow-through, and attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of employment law and legislation as it relates to recruitment
  • Ability to read and write the English language, conduct business related mathematics and analyze data as required.
  • Able to travel and attend business-related meetings and trips
  • Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources is a plus
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus

 

Overview of Responsibilities

  • Conduct high volume of resume screenings and interviews regularly for designated positions
  • Understand the working matrices, business model, footprints, and various functions throughout the company
  • Advertise, attract, source and identify qualified candidates using a variety of channels for open roles based on position criteria
  • Utilize techniques and tools to attract passive and actively seeking candidates
  • Assess candidates to ensure qualification match, skills, competencies, character fit, integrity and compatibility for the considered role
  • Present shortlisted candidates and provide detailed profile summaries to relevant parties
  • Establish and manage recruiting plans, through consistent communication with CPO and senior leadership, to determine the strategic initiatives and forecasts for recruiting diverse talent across the organization
  • Manage job boards and continually expand applicant reach for recruitment purposes
  • Provide hiring process support such as posting jobs on various media, running ads, reviewing applications, phone screenings, interviews, updating applicant tracking system, etc.as needed based on available positions
  • Use creative and innovative recruitment tactics as well as more traditional methods such as building relationships with community organizations, colleges, employment agencies, and etc. while maintaining legal compliance
  • Maintain a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need
  • Develop strong relationships and partner with hiring managers, company managers and the HR team to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria
  • Assist with onboarding process for new hires as needed
  • Maintain, improve and furnish up-to-date open to hire reports, new hire tracking lists, as well as any other reports or tracking methods
  • Assist with experience and exit interviews for employees. Provide analysis report to discuss trends and areas of improvement.
  • Provide employee turnover and other statistical information to appropriate parties
  • Other duties, projects, tasks as per business need
