Compassionate Care are looking for a Team Leader to join our friendly, growing team to ensure that a quality and caring service is delivered to our clients.


About the Team Leader Role

Our Team Leaders are primarily based at our head office in Altrincham, Cheshire (near Manchester Airport) with time spent out in the field; supervising and supporting our team of care assistants and making sure that our clients receive the high standard of care that is at a standard good enough for your own family.  

This is a permanent position, 37.5 hours per week, including alternate weekends .


Key Responsibilities of a Team Leader:

  • Work effectively alongside colleagues within the domiciliary team to ensure the safe, effective and efficient delivery of a flexible and high quality service.
  • Supervise and support Care Assistants on a day to day basis
  • Identify training and development needs of the team by carrying out supervisions and spot checks
  • Client assessments
  • Ensure support and care plans are reviewed
  • Communicate and liaise effectively with other professionals, service users and their families to ensure a smooth transition through the service and achieve best possible outcomes for our clients

Job Requirements

  • Level 2 qualification in Care or equivalent
  • A minimum of 1 years’ experience in home care
  • A valid driving licence and access to own car is essential
