The Executive Sous Chef Role:
• Work alongside the Executive Chef to manage daily kitchen activities including overseeing staff, aiding with menu preparation, ensuring food quality and freshness, and monitoring ordering and stocking
• Provides food quality and consistency by following designated and branded recipes
• Provides guidance to junior team members
• Onboards and trains new kitchen employees to brand standards
The Ideal Executive Sous Chef Candidate:
• 5+ years of previous restaurant experience
• Formal culinary training is an asset
• Extensive food, beverage, and hospitality industry knowledge
• Strong organizational skills and extreme attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and remain positive
• A self-starter and a creative problem solver
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Must be like minded in your philosophy and passionate about local and organic food
