Description
D&D London is a group of diverse restaurants, bars and hotels based principally in London, but also with venues in Paris, New York and Tokyo. It was founded by Des Gunewardena and David Loewi (the eponymous D and D) in 2006, following a buyout of Conran Restaurants. Since then the company has become a vital player in London’s famous restaurant scene, owning some of the capital’s most celebrated restaurants, including Quaglino’s, Le Pont de la Tour, Bluebird and Coq d’Argent. Outside of London the company has made their mark in the North by opening Crafthouse, Angelica, Issho and East 59th in Leeds, and most recently 20 Stories in Manchester.

Every year we are on the lookout for enthusiastic and motivated foodies, who are hungry to work in hospitality and have what it takes to become managers in the future. Our Manager in Training (MIT) programme is aimed at graduates and provides a challenging, fun and ultimately rewarding 12 months of experience and development, with the opportunity to progress into a full-time Assistant Manager role on completion. During the programme, you will get to :

• Rotate around different departments to gain valuable experience in all areas of the restaurant
• Complete business understanding projects
• Develop Management and Leadership skills
• Take the Wine and Spirits Educational Trust level 2 qualification
• Visit Head Office and spend time with the different support departments
• Attend Quarterly network dinners
• Go on supplier visits
• Attend various masterclasses
• Receive coaching and mentoring from Senior Managers

Key Requirements:

• Educated to degree level
• Previous industry experienced preferred but not essential
• Self-motivated and passionate about a career in hospitality
• Great interpersonal skills
