Duff's Cakemix is an 'entertainment retail' concept offering do-it-yourself cake decorating experiences in a vibrant studio atmosphere. Our co-founder, Duff Goldman, is a chef and Food Network personality made famous on the hit tv show Ace of Cakes, and currently starring in several others, including Kids Baking Championship. Our mission is to helpcustomers decorate cakes, celebrate life, share the love!

We are looking for Team Members who will be able work for us through the summer months (June- August)Duff's Cakemix is an 'entertainment retail' concept offering do-it-yourself cake decorating experiences in a vibrant studio atmosphere. Our mission is to help customers reconnect with their inner artists and forge closer bonds with friends and family, summarized by "decorate cakes, celebrate life, share the love!". Our co-founder and namesake, Duff Goldman is a chef and Food Network personality made famous on the hit tv show Ace of Cakes, and currently starring in several other shows, including Kids Baking Championship. We are opening two new locations this year in the greater LA area.. We have a paid three day training program that will teach you the ins and outs of what it means to be a Duff's Cakemix Team Member.

What Does a Team Member Do?

• Creates an exceptional customer experience by hosting guests with genuine warmth and enthusiasm.

• Helps guests navigate the creative process.

• Engages with guests throughout their experience.

• Uses empathy and creativity to address and resolve customer concerns or complaints.

• Participates in prep work, cleaning, stocking and organizing.

Compensation and Benefits:

• $12.50 an hour PLUS TIPS.

• 35% employees discount

Availability:

• Hours will range from 16-24 hours per week

• We are looking for candidates with open availability but it is not required

Qualifications:

• Min of a high school diploma or GED or 2-3 years of customer service experience and/or training.

• Must be energized by interacting with kids and families.

• Emotional intelligence, an enthusiastic attitude, and high-energy

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Salary: $12.50 /hour
