Assistant Manager

We are now recruiting for Assistant Manager position for 2 of our stores!

Eggslut is a chef driven, gourmet food concept founded in Los Angeles in 2011. It’s inspired by a true love for eggs. The menu is a balance of comfort and innovation, celebrating food that appeals to both novice and extreme foodie through classic comfort fare with a twist. All-encompassing our key ingredient, eggs.

In August 2019 we opened the first restaurant in Europe – London, PORTOBELLO ROAD. In July 2020 we opened FITZROVIA store and now preparing the grand opening of SHOREDITCH.
We are looking for the most excited candidates to join this exiting project!

As an Assistant Manager, you will have the best supporting role to the GM, and you are responsible to ensure the all operation his organised and supervised accordingly. You will also become a brand ambassador motivating the teams on daily basis leading them by example.  You will work closely with both FOH and Chef’s team to ensure that the quality of the food offering is consistently delivered and offer both our guests and staff, the best experience.

Core responsibilities

• Support the General Manager by overseeing team objectives and development plans, and executing the PNL in place
• Ensure operations are running smoothly and any issues are addressed and reported properly
• Share best practice amongst the team
• Have Health & Safety and Food Safety knowledge to conduct internal audits and ensure all procedures are followed
• Leading stocktaking and management of stock control
• Support the Recruitment, training and coach team members so they are equipped to perform at their best
• Enforcing brand standards in regards to our customer service requirements

 Essential Skills and Attributes

• Ability to inspire, motivate, lead and develop teams;
• Be organised and creative with excellent attention to detail;
• Have passion for food , and natural hospitality profile
• Warm, personable and professional nature and works calmly and efficiently under pressure
• Ability to manage staff costs and review rotas accordingly;
• Prior experience as an Assistant Manager or Restaurant Manager will be considered
