Job Description: The Usher is responsible for supporting our execution of an excellent guest experience, by preparing and delivering concessions items for our guests, delivering food and alcohol to guests, maintaining cleanliness of various aspects of the building as directed, and interacting with guests in a friendly and hospitable manner.
Job Purpose: To support the crafting of excellent guest experiences, by ensuring facilities exceed guest’s expectations of cleanliness and all items ordered are received by guests accurately and in a timely manner.
Job Qualifications:
• Ability to read and interpret orders as they come in
• Ability to follow directions pertaining to food safety, chemical safety, and daily maintenance of equipment
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Works days, nights, holidays and/or weekends as required
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
• Must have problem solving abilities, and time-management skills
• Commitment to accurately and quickly prepare and deliver items to guests
• Coachability
• Pleasant and friendly demeanor through entire shift
• Commitment to cleanliness of our facility: willingness to assist in cleaning of restrooms, auditoriums, and other areas as directed

Job Tasks:
• Adhere to company standards of cleanliness in all areas of our facility
• Adhere to company standards of accuracy and delivery times of ordered items
• Communicate with managers when guests communicate any service issues
• Ensure proper use of chemicals while cleaning, and proper use of any equipment
• Ensure concessions operations are running smoothly by completing all “Jolt” checklists in a timely manner
• Ensure restroom checks happen hourly by completing “Jolt” checklists
• Pro-active in getting things done and exceeding expectations of both guests and team members
• Enforce and follow all Envision Cinemas policies, such as performing bag checks or enforcing our No Outside Food or Drink policy
• Observe and follow sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of cinema
• Stocking and putting away items in concessions and in restrooms
• Showing flexibility and willingness to perform tasks outside of an assigned position
• Complete training and attend classes as directed
• Taking out trash as necessary
• Comply to all manager requests for any cleaning tasks or other duties
• Greeting and welcoming, answering questions, thanking and saying goodbye to guests
• Upholding our Guest Contract
• For ushers over the age of 19, delivering alcohol to guests is required

Physical Requirements
• Ability to speak and hear
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 35lbs.
