General Clean Preventative Maintenance (GCPM)

Under Canvas began in 2009 with the opening of an all-inclusive glamping adventure package and has since grown to include eight luxury glamping resorts and a customized event’s offering, bringing the glamping experience to life anywhere in the country. And we continue to grow and reach our goal of 40 glampsites by 2023.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a GCPM with Under Canvas, you are responsible for performing scheduled preventative maintenance on tents, gathering areas, and public spaces.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Inspect furniture, fixtures, appliances, and tents for touch-ups, or replacement.
• Report any serious maintenance issues and safety hazards to the Facilities Manager / GM.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Active listener who seeks clarification
• Responds to requests in a timely manner
• Seeks feedback
• Communicates well both written and verbally
• Looks for areas of improvement and creates solutions
• Seeks out additional duties when needed
• Pays attention to detail
• Research problems and solutions

PREFERRED SKILLS:
• Preventative maintenance at club / camping / resort setting
• Tent / shelter knowledge
• Outdoor enthusiast
