Description
Great Performances, New York's premier food service and events company based in SoHo, seeks an Office Coordinator/Receptionist to support our corporate office for this full time position. We are seeking an outgoing professional with 2+ years' experience in an administrative or executive assistant role. Candidates with strong college internships may also be considered for this unique career opportunity.

As the first face of the company, you must exude a strong and capable presence. In addition, you must have excellent written and oral communication skills, customer service or related experience, and strong attention to detail. A pleasant phone manner with clients and vendors is required. The ideal candidate is upbeat, detail oriented, flexible, and has the ability to multi-task and adapt to our fast paced environment.

Responsibilities:
Serve as first point of contact for sales inquiries via phone, in person and website;
Meet and greet clients, customers, visitors and applicants;
Handle very busy phones in a professional and courteous manner;
Take notes at select meetings. Regularly write letters;
Manage regular administrative processes that impact the sales teams;
Provide administrative support to executive teams when required;
Oversee outgoing and incoming package deliveries;
Manage executive's calendar;
Perform clerical duties as needed.

Requirements:
A college degree preferred but not required. Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required. Must be able to exercise good judgment in determining workflow, priorities and deadlines, and have excellent written and oral communication skills. Accuracy and timeliness for completing tasks is important.

This position has a schedule of 8:30am -- 5:30pm Mon-Fri. Could lead to other growth opportunities for the right candidate. Competitive salary, plus benefits, including paid time off, medical, dental, 401(k) plan, transit and flexible spending accounts.
