Hiring SERVERS for busy Midtown cocktail bar & restaurant

SUMMARY
Busy Midtown cocktail bar and restaurant is seeking a professional, hospitality driven server!
Servers will be responsible for taking food and drink orders and providing high-quality customer service to our guests. Qualified applicants must have a positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure.

SERVER RESPONSIBILITIES
• Welcome, engage and serve guests in a warm manner
• Present menus, take orders and enter orders into point-of-sale system
• Strong menu knowledge with the ability to make recommendations
• Ensure all orders are accurately brought to the guests in a timely manner
• Accurately handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions
• Follow all food safety and health department regulations
• Address guest concerns swiftly in a solution-oriented manner

SERVER REQUIREMENTS
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1-2 years NYC restaurant experience
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Experience with Aloha
• Positive, engaging personality and professional appearance
• Understanding of food preparation methods and common allergens
• Ability to provide high level guest relations in a fast-paced environment
• Strong task and time management abilities
• A commitment to high-quality work while unsupervised
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, etc. for extended periods, and lift 35+ lbs
