Our concepts require applicants who are passionate about the service industry, energetic with an outgoing personality to enable seamless integration with our existing team. Our New York Beer Company location is a fast-paced, high volume craft beer sports bar with an elevated food program located in Times Square/Hell's Kitchen (Midtown West). We are currently seeking highly motivated host and reservationist applicants to join our existing team on a full or part-time basis. Candidates must be self-starter's and be able to manage high volume front of house guest relations.

POSITION DETAILS
Schedule: Full-time / 45-50 hours per week
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience
Location: 321 W 44th Street New York, NY 10036
Atmosphere: Neighborhood Casual
Salary: Competetive Base w/ benefits; negotiable based on applicant experience & skill set (starting $70k+ annual )
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Payroll
- Time & attendance management
- Scheduling
- Compliance posters for Payroll and HR
- Ensuring payroll stays on budget & weekly reporting
Banking & Financials
- Ensure daily cash is reconciled and dropped
- Tips are completed and entered on the sheet
HR Compliance
- Wage rate acknowledgments
- Upkeep of employee records
- Staff Counseling compliance and records
- Hiring, scheduling and interviewing
Staff Training & Development
- Development and maintenance of the FOH employee training manual
- Staff training program
- Planning and content for weekly staff meetings
- Daily pre-shift meetings w/ staff
- Oversight and input on agenda and content with management team
- Continual staff evaluations and feedback on performance
- Mgmt. training and development on all processes and systems
DOHM & Hygiene Standards
- Ensure AM & PM health dept checks are complete
- Continually check with the kitchen and prep for compliance
Maintenance
- Set Phone Reminder Alarms / Calendar Alerts for Periodical Maintenance
- AC & Refrigeration Compliance Daily
- Grease trap cleaning every 3 months (both floors)
- Range hood cleaning every 3 months - Make sure sticker is posted for FDNY
- Fire extinguisher tags checked every 3 months
- Emergency Lighting log completed daily - delegate to another mgr. and oversee
- Fire alarm tested and log completed daily - delegate to another mgr. and oversee
- Ice Machines - cleaned weekly and log complete
- Audiovisual requirements for special events
ADMINISTRATION
Legal Compliance / Special Documents Folder Maintenance & Up Keep
- Liquor license displayed and current
- Insurance certificates available and current
- Certificate of resale posted
- Fire Ext. & Ansul tags are current
- Hood Cleaning Inspection Tags)
