Front Desk Agent


Description

Hotel June is seeking a Front Desk Agent for our ideally located 250-room re-imagined Hotel on the Westside with two restaurants, creative event venues, and a spectacular pool deck. Hotel June is the flagship of a new thoughtful, accessible, lifestyle brand from the team that brought you Proper Hotels.


The Front Desk Agent will deliver customer service excellence at all times by creating a personable and memorable experience for guests.

Job Overview

  • Provide a warm, authentic greeting to all guests according to brand standards
  • Promptly answer, record, and complete all guests’ requests, phone calls, questions, or concerns
  • Process arrivals and departures, complete registration paperwork, obtain and post payments, and balance cash banks
  • Execute check-in process per brand standards
  • Arrange airport and local transportation through established network of vetted vendors and seeking new best practices
  • Display a positive and enthusiastic attitude and be a team-player
  • Provide knowledgeable and comprehensive information about the neighborhood and surrounding areas


Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar role in a fast-paced hospitality environment preferred
  • Dependable, detail-oriented and organized
  • Able to work under pressure and maintain composure at all times
  • Excellent communication skills - both oral and written
  • Strong ability to assess a situation, show good judgment and resolve conflicts
  • Ability to multi-task, solutions-oriented, open minded, and always seeking to improve
  •  Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, consistent with the needs of the property
  • Collaborate with Colleagues cross-departmentally
  • Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
  • Work cohesively with Colleagues as part of a team


Education

High School degree or equivalent required.
