Kitchen Ambassador
Fun and passionate Kitchen Ambassadors wanted at Island Poké!
About us:
Bringing the laid back and vibrant 'island style' to Central London, we're a Hawaiian grab-and-go restaurant serving an interactive offering of poké (a deconstructed sushi if you didn't know!).
We genuinely love to share the spirit of Aloha with our customers and employees and now have many sites across Central London - but this is just the beginning! We are set to expand considerably in the near future so there’s plenty of opportunity to grow and progress with us.
What’s in it for you as a Kitchen Ambassador?
Induction at Pokeademy (our training academy) plus ongoing training and development
Being a part of an energetic team in a vibey, fun working environment
Free poké for lunch (obviously!)
Legendary and lively staff parties
Cycle to work scheme
Weekly football
You are:
A true Kitchen Ambassador who’s bubbly, full of energy and a great team player. You’ll embody our company values; Innovative, Interactive, High Energy and Family ‘Ohana’, and will illustrate them whilst delivering poké to the people with our unique Aloha filled service and lively atmosphere.
You naturally:
Stay calm under pressure and are proactive and reliable
Are punctual and manage your time efficiently
Are passionate about your role, the team and the growth of Island Poké
The ‘day to day’ as a Kitchen Ambassador includes:
Efficient prep of bases (rice and greens)
Maintaining a well spruced, happy kitchen whilst keeping on top of the washing up
Mucking in with running duties when needed
Team playing
Living and breathing our values
