Fun and passionate Assistant Managers wanted at Island Poké!

About us:

Bringing the laid back and vibrant 'island style' to Central London, we're a Hawaiian grab-and-go restaurant serving an interactive offering of poké (a deconstructed sushi if you didn't know!).

We genuinely love to share the spirit of Aloha with our customers and employees and now have many sites across Central London - but this is just the beginning! We are set to expand considerably in the near future so there’s plenty of opportunity to grow and progress with us.

What's in it for you as an Assistant Manager?

- Up to £25,500 basic + a bonus structure of up to 10% of your salary
- Flexible and sociable working hours
- The opportunity to be an influential member of a young and vibrant brand
- Induction at Pokeademy (our training academy) plus ongoing training and development
- Free poké for lunch (obviously!)
- Legendary and lively staff parties
- Cycle to work scheme
- Weekly football

You are:

A true Assistant Manager who’s bubbly, full of energy and a great team player. You’ll embody our company values; Innovative, Interactive, High Energy and Family ‘Ohana’, and will illustrate them whilst delivering poké to the people with our unique Aloha filled service and lively atmosphere.

You naturally:

- Have the ability to balance the needs of your ambassadors with the overall needs of the business
- Have an eye for detail and spotting opportunities
- Have a positive, upbeat customer first attitude
- Stay calm under pressure and are proactive and reliable
- Are punctual and manage your time efficiently – from directing your team during service ensuring an energetic and lively team spirit to administrative duties
- Are passionate about your role, the team and the growth of Island Poké

The ‘day to day’ as an Assistant Manager includes supporting the General Manager in:

- Leading the perfect shift whilst embracing your own unique and Aloha filled management style
- Keeping on top of back office duties (rotas, ordering, reviews, reports)
- Overseeing food and drinks quality, ensuring high consistency at all times
- Flash reporting and ensuring KPI's are exceeded
- The recruitment and development of your ambassadors
- Exceeding budgets through your team’s delivery of true Aloha filled service and perfect poké in a lively atmosphere
- Building and maintaining the perfect family tree
- Ensuring your team are happy, inspired and valued
- Being a gatekeeper of knowledge, safety and standards
- Clear communication
- Living and breathing our values
