Restaurant Supervisor/Manager

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

1.              Always provides prompt and courteous food & beverage services to every guest by bringing food to table in a timely manner.

2.              Attempts to control food costs; throw away, etc.

3.              Demonstrates knowledge of menu items.

4.              Effectively communicates with food server regarding guests’ needs.

5.              Informs Supervisor/Manager of any situations that arise or need immediate attention.

6.              Ensures side work is completed in a timely manner and completed prior to shift end.

7.              Exhibits extreme care when handling dishware, glassware, silverware and food product.

8.              Continually monitors stock levels and obtains supplies and equipment for refreshment bars.

9.              Quickly clears and re sets tables

10.            Consistently demonstrates the ability to maintain equipment standards.  Reports any equipment malfunctions immediately.

11.            Always follows department training standards

12.            Helps to keep the restaurant sanitized up to training standards

13.            Sanitizes restroom after each use

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

1.         Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D.

2.         Must have experience in a guest contact position.

3.         Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

4.         Prior experience in food service preferred.

5.         Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.

6.         Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
