We are looking for a Marketing Manager to work with the Venue Director and KERB’s wider marketing team to deliver a range of marketing outputs. This is a full 360 role that requires a dynamic and results-driven person to bring to life and help elevate the public face of the business. In charge of the venue marketing function which includes the Buffini Chao Deck, Atrium, The Understudy, KERB at the Understudy, Espresso Bar, Bank of America Terrace and House restaurant, the incumbent will be a fundamental part of the KERB team, creating coherence and consistency of messaging across the site and ensuring a beautifully written and visual tone of voice.
This role requires initiative, vision, insight, the ability to have great ideas and to execute them - as well as previous experience in marketing management and the desire to be part of an unusual and dynamic business and its ongoing growth.
We’re looking for someone who has experience in and can comfortably deliver the full marketing mix (off and online), from digital, social, direct, PR, press, print, outdoor, partnerships and events.
Underpinning the day to day marketing activity requires the need for our communications to effectively and naturally weave in the story of KERB as a culture, community and leader in the London food scene.
This is a highly practical role focused on output and involving working within a range of marketing deliverables.
PLANNING & DELIVERY
Contribute to the overall marketing planning at a broader level, working with the wider marketing/events/PR team
Help to deliver the specific marketing plan for the project site
Contribute and develop to best-of-practice operations and processes
Excellent project management with the ability to manage a project from conception to completion
Able to fully utilise all relevant marketing channels to effectively engage, promote and drive growth
Ability to provide marketing expertise & advice in inter departmental meetings
PRACTICAL 360 MARKETING DELIVERY
Well versed in delivering marketing deliverables across a range of practices, including but not limited to:
Paid Socials - Facebook & Instagram (working with KERB’s Social Media & Content Manager)
Direct / Email - Devise and craft content, scheduling output & segmenting audiences
Digital - Google, SEO, platforms & target web listings
Website - maintenance, microsite & landing page creation, regular maintenance, functionality & updates
Database - help to grow KERB’s newsletter subscriber databases - via online and offline methods
Local, on site & OOH - Posters, leafleting, wayfinding, billboards
PR briefing & management (in partnership with PR agency & support of Head of Marketing)
Partnerships & relationship management of KERB traders
BRAND, DESIGN & COPYWRITING
Site-wide collateral brand auditing
Copywriting - Excellent copywriting skills with ability to adapt messaging to various marketing elements eg. adverts, blogs, newsletters, menus etc.
Provide strong creative briefs to designers and agencies to deliver concepts, content or assets for marketing campaigns
Ability to adopt KERB’s tone of voice and communication style
BUDGETS, FINANCE, ANALYSIS & REPORTING
Monitor and report on budget spend monthly
Track and measure marketing efforts monthly, providing reports, insights and recommendations
Ability to use marketing tools to effectively draw out data eg. Facebook ads, Google Business, Mailchimp and more
KEY SKILL REQUIREMENTS
A solid understanding of marketing principles
Excellent grasp and experience of marketing within food service industry
Project management
Ability to effectively use marketing tools and programmes including Mailchimp, Planable, Google Business & more.
Ideally basic design skills, using templates via Canva / Figma / Photoshop
