Quality and Passion are at the heart of Maison Kayser, and you will lead a team with your professionalism, passion for our product, and quality driven leadership style. in conjunction with employees in the management team, you will be responsible for supporting daily operations. You are responsible for opening and closing process, interacting with all guests, basic Q&A, creating a positive atmosphere, and restaurant floor set up.
Team Building and Management
Check in with employees to confirm attendance and making sure all employees are prepared to begin shifts
Welcome new hires and introducing new employees to everyone in the store
Support GM & AGM with daily and weekly tasks by providing assistance to all employees
Train new and promoted employees to provide maximum support required
Assign breaks for all employees
Support GM to deliver any company wide communication to all employees
Provide feedback and be a liaison between field trainers to employees
Work with management team to control labor cost by increasing efficiency and sales in the store
Address concerns with employees not following policies and inform GM or AGM to manage them
Be a witness to disciplinary action when necessary
Learn and understand all company policies and provide suitable advice to employees
Customer Service & Product Quality
Ensure all employees are providing exceptional customer service
Consistently view the store from a customer perspective and challenge key leaders to do the same
Open and close the store as planned; assure all security procedures are followed
Follow standard with opening and closing procedures

Handle guest complaints and escalate to AGM or GM if necessary
Manage void and comps for all customers and employees
Manage leftover products and handle all waste prior to closing
Responsible for cash out at closing and tip recording
Help to manage all invoice processing and waste controls through CrunchTime
Check quality of all products for opening and organize rotation of displays
Health & Safety
Responsible to record information in Maison Kayser Orange Book
Regularly inspect store to assure standards are maintained at all times
Always keep all areas of the store clean while operating business and provide regular feedback to night porters to make necessary improvements
Know/learn and maintain compliance with relevant regulatory rules, standards, and licenses
Ensure all employees are properly trained in safe work practices and procedures
Own the store's maintenance process: notifying maintenance team and following up to make sure issues are resolved in a timely manner
Manage DOH compliance and stay updated with all knowledge needed to handle DOH inspection
Full Ownership
Ensure the management team is continually focused on fulfilling store profitability requirements
Monitor and review store performance and facilitate improvements
Plan ahead for peak trading periods, events and seasonal changes
Support all employees with their responsibilities and help GM and AGM to achieve targeted sales
Plan holidays effectively to manage employees' schedules and maximize business potential
Desired Skills & Experience
Ability to support the GM, AGM, and all employees in the store
Open availability required
1-3 years of experience in handling various shifts with customer facing environment
A Passion for food and restaurant operations and a desire to make an impact on customer and business
A "can do" work ethic and the ability to be a role model
Ability to adapt and succeed in a fast paced environment
