The ideal candidate will be admin-focused with very good attention to detail, but also hands-on and creative; this role will take you from office-based tasks through to on-site presence as you coordinate events from initial proposal through to final delivery.

We’re offering you
- A competitive salary
- The opportunity to develop your skills and experience, whilst working in a dynamic, fast-moving and growing business
- The opportunity to increase the seniority of the role as the team grows in the future

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Working closely with the Marketing team, you will be involved in all aspects of the booking and hosting of Events, primarily in our Oxford Street venue but also in our other venues. This will include:
- Responding to inbound event and bookings enquiries (largely through Design My Night)
- Working with the customer to plan the events
- Preparing detailed event plans to ensure successful execution of each event
- Hosting visits and show-rounds to prospective customers

- Liaising with our Finance team to ensure correct invoicing, deposits and cash collection
- Liaising with our Operations team to brief them fully on the requirements for each event
- Attendance at key events to greet the main customers and to ensure everything runs smoothly
- Post event follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction where appropriate
- Maintaining database of events, venue listings and contacts
- Outreach to source sponsors, partner brands and promote events to the public
- Using event management software to manage event budgets
- Other event management duties as appropriate

As part of a small team, you will be expected to play a key role in supporting the delivery of successful customer events. Therefore, flexibility and multi-tasking is key to success in the role.
The role will be flexi-hours; generally office hours, Monday to Friday, flexing if necessary to attend part/all of some events which may take place at evenings and weekends.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Likely to be a recent graduate, possibly in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Business Administration, or similar
- Good Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Creative and aware of current trends in food, drinks & events
- Accurate and quick, with complete attention to detail
- Able to prioritise tasks and work under reasonable pressure and to manage your own workload with guidance from your line manager
- Excellent communication skills, confident and articulate
- A good awareness of the Market Halls brand and venues
- Good team working skills
- Hands on, flexible team player, comfortable in a small, growing and dynamic business environment
- Energetic and self-driven, ambitious to develop your skills
- The role is office based, in central London (Oxford Circus tube) with some travel to other sites in the London area.
