Overview

Montcalm Collection are looking for a skilled and ambitious PR & Marketing Manager to join our team. You will play a crucial role in driving our digital marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing strategies, analytics, and a passion for staying ahead of industry trends.

Help to shape the Montcalm Collection’s next chapter and showcase your skills. Become a trusted ambassador for one of our hotels and take advantage of the opportunity to move between properties, achieving the service and product delivery standards for the department with a high degree of customer care and service.

 The PR & Marketing Manager  will report to the Head of Marketing and will play a vital role in supporting the development and execution of our marketing strategies and campaigns. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks, from conducting market research and creating content to managing campaigns and tracking results. This position will oversee the day-to-day operations of PR & Marketing for Montcalm Collection, ensuring effective communication strategies that align with organisational goals. The role will involve supporting the Head of Marketing and working closely with the newly appointed PR agency in implementing strategies and activities to promote the hotels and brand. The position will support with the development and execution of the PR plans for the Montcalm collection of hotels with the goal of driving top-tier earned media/ social exposure.

  Job Description:

·         Assist in managing the press and public relations strategy.

·         Preparations for influencer and/or press arrivals.

·         Management of the operational part of events (guestlist management and welcoming guests, creation of operational technical sheets)

·         Technical coordination with partners (delivery, equipment and sound)

·         Proactive search for partnership opportunities (must be proactive)

·         Manage the PR inbox and respond to press, blogger, image and filming requests

·         Arrange and attend regular press meetings – at least one per week

·         Be proactive and reactive using creativity and initiative to get the job done effectively

·         Work closely with the head of marketing and the wider comms team to ensure an effective and productive working relationship

·         Assist in the management and execution of Montcalm Collection’s cultural events programming Creation of content and texts for associated communications media.

·         Management of partner and service provider invoicing (creation of supplier files, follow-up of payments).

·         Proactivity in terms of networking and communication towards the partners around us, in creative circles: fashion, music, art, culture, food.

·         Monitor, analyse, and communicate PR results on a quarterly basis.

·         Provide regular reports and insights to senior management for continuous improvement.

 Requirements:

·         Bachelor’s degree in public relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.

·         Minimum of 3 years of experience in Public Relations or Marketing, preferably in the hospitality industry.

·         Experience using various analytics software.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·         Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative PR ideas.

·         Experience in copywriting for various platforms, including press releases, articles, and promotional materials.

·         Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and media monitoring tools. Self-motivated and energetic.
