The Altamarea Group lets its hair down with its fourth New York City restaurant, Nicoletta. Creating pies in an open kitchen, Chef Michael White gets down to basics with the simplest and best known of all Italian dishes: pizza. But there is nothing ordinary about Nicoletta pizza. Try the Funghi with roasted wild mushrooms, sauteed spinach, and a porcini marsala crema and you’ll see what we mean. Or the Calabrese pizza with thick-cut pepperoni, homemade fennel sausage, red onions, pomodoro and mozzarella!
All of our pies are made fresh to order. Try our Neopolitan Meatballs or any combination of the Assaggini and Sfizi while you wait for your pizza to arrive hot from our brick oven. Make sure to check out all the other delicious dishes on our menu like the Pollo alla Parmigiana: breaded chicken breast fried to a beautiful golden brown, covered with Chef White's pomodoro sauce and topped with melted mozzarella cheese served with a side of spinach, sautéed with onions, garlic & chile flakes. Our chicken parmigiana is full of flavor and a great addition to any pie or on it's own.
