Description
WHO:
We currently need a Head Pastry Chef who will help support the kitchen in delivering great food from the pastry section as well as being part of the kitchen management team.

THEY SHOULD:
- Have a genuine passion and knowledge of food and pastry
- Be a strong leader who can manage and motivate the pastry team and support the Head Chef
- Be a hands on chef, taking responsibility for the section whilst ensuring the team is working together
- Train junior team members, promoting a learning culture
- Possess strong team work skills
- Actively promoting strong working relationships between the kitchen and front of house teams.
- Have experience of working within a similar style kitchen in a senior pastry role

WHERE:
Located just 15 miles from Oxford, the Minster Mill is in the picturesque village of Minster Lovell, the newly developed Minster Mill and Garden Spa includes a 48 cover restaurant aspiring to three rosette's, a lounge bar and banqueting for up to 100 people. The kitchen is headed up by Tom Moody, Masterchef 'the Professionals' Semi-Finalist 2017, with the focus on a passionate team and quality food and beverage offering. Our sister property, the Old Swan (over the road!) is a classic country Inn that offers a relaxed but bustling environment and great food, housing 16 bedrooms above.

The Minster Mill offers a relaxed, fun yet professional environment to work in. We can offer off-site staff accommodation, in order to help the newest members of the team re-locate, so they can settle into life at the hotel and local area in comfort.
