Delivery Driver

Please have a CLEAN driving record and able to pass a drug screen and background check before applying. Thank you.

Also please have Route Driver experience having driven at least a 16 foot Box Truck.

Ole & Steen-US has an exciting new delivery driver opportunity for our bakeries opening in NYC! You will be responsible for proper delivery of products from our commissary (located in Long Island City) to our stores in throughout NYC daily. We deliver fresh to each store three times a day. You will be responsible for reviewing all orders prior to delivery with the commissary leadership team to make sure everything is correct. Along with that you will load and unload the trucks and obtain necessary signatures once the products have been received in the local stores. Once deliveries are complete you will return to the commissary and give management the delivery paperwork to be checked and filed away. You will then prepare for your next delivery.

Drivers are responsible for truck safety and daily maintenance walk-through. You should be able to pass a drug test. During your route you will track temperature logs, daily gas/mileage log and maintain a break log.

This is a customer facing position and you should be courteous, professional and well spoken.

You will need to have:
Valid driver’s license
Clean driving record (must be able to pass a driver record check)
Strong customer service skills
Be organized and professional
Must have positive and professional attitude
Strong attention to detail
