SUMMARY
The Sandwich Team Member prepares sandwiches, salads and sauces
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepare a variety of sandwiches and salads.
• Being a team player assist and support in all areas of restaurant when needed
• Makes dressings and sauces for sandwiches and pastries.
• Ensures sandwich display is presentable for internal and external customers
• Completes various reports for records such as; production, usage and waste
• Order product and materials, as necessary
• Maintains daily par levels and restocks station orders set up orders
• Demonstrates knowledge of the brand and menu items
• Informs supervisor when equipment is not working properly and when food supplies are getting low.
• Bi-monthly and monthly inventory assessment.
• Clean and sanitizes refrigerator, freezer and storage; work areas (counters/floors), equipment, containers, utensils and dishes.
• Receive, stock and store food in designated containers and storage areas in an organized manner.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must have effective verbal and written communications skills
• Provide good customer service, internally or externally
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and knife handling.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• High School Diploma or equivalent or some College preferred
• 1+ years’ relevant experience
