WHAT WE ARE HUNGRY FOR

We are seeking a Human Resources and Payroll Specialist who will be responsible for supporting with the administration of payroll, benefits and overall Human Resources for Paris Baguette. This candidate will be performing payroll duties, HRIS processes and running special reports for numerous audits. This candidate will assist our Payroll Manager with data entry, maintaining accurate team member information in our HRIS platform, and being involved with inquiries regarding policies and procedures. This candidate will also support the HR team with Benefits enrollment, and yearly open enrollment.

You will be someone who can provide our payroll and HR department with a keen eye for accuracy and organization.

 

KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Review personnel records from our Onboarding Platform, Harri, to determine accuracy of data, such as names, rates of pay and occupations of newly hired team members.

·       Ensure team member data accurately transfers over from Harri into Paylocity.

·       Review and process changes of HRIS data such as wage rates, promotions, title changes, department changes, and occupations of team members in Paylocity.

·       Direct computation of pay according to company policies, and local and state labor laws.

·       Review and approve payroll deductions, including Tips and Expense reimbursement.

·       Ensure timecards are complete and signed off by team members and supervisors in Harri platform.

·       Verify and audit hours worked for associated for accuracy, contact appropriate supervisor regarding discrepancies and missing information.

·       Review payroll to ensure accuracy and process timely each bi-weekly and weekly payroll runs.

·       Work closely with accounting, legal and outside agency request for varying reports.

·       Audit for accuracy, new or changed pay rates in payroll files.

·       Assist in answering payroll questions and providing support to employees by resolving individual payroll issues, conveying information, etc.

·       Produces scheduled and ad-hoc reports pertaining to payroll and HR requirements.

·       Provide wage statements as necessary.

·       Handle state, local and payroll tax registrations with minimal supervision.

·       Plans, conducts and reports results of audits to ensure all benefits enrollments are accurate and that dependent information is correct for each employee

 

·       Ensure the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in HRIS to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information.

·       Work closely with HR team with Open Enrollment and processing of Open Enrollment on Paylocity platform.

·       Assist with performing quality checks of benefits-related data.

·       Assist employees regarding benefits claim issues and plan changes.

·       Respond to all unemployment claims in a timely manner

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE

·       Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, preferred.

·       2+ years of experience in HRIS/Payroll/Time keeping systems, required. Paylocity experience preferred.

  • Bakery/Café experience preferred.
