American Gonzo Food Corp. is hiring a Director of Creative Services

American Gonzo Food Corp, the innovative restaurant development and operations company located in Venice, Ca is seeking a Director of Creative Services. Our family of restaurants includes Superba Food + Bread in Venice, Superba Snacks + Coffee in Pasadena and North Hollywood, American Beauty and The Win-Dow in Venice, as well as Pitfire Artisan Pizzas throughout Los Angeles and Orange County. 

We are seeking a creative and passionate person, committed to communicating our hospitality standards and role modeling our values. This is a tactical and strategic position, and the right candidate will enjoy hands on work equally to development and planning.  

S/he will be responsible for:

• Development and Implementation of marketing plans and initiatives
  
• Management of social media platforms and initiatives inclusive of regular posting
  
• Maintenance and future development of company websites
  
• Management of branding partners, artisans, and makers 
  
• Management and creation of company photographic assets
  
• Creation of marketing collateral pieces

The right candidate must possess a strong work ethic, the curiosity and drive to learn new things, and excellent communication and organizational skills.  S/he will have a strong interest in food, drink, and restaurants in general.  Additionally, s/he will be a strong business and creative writer and competent photographer.  If you are capable in some but not all of these areas, please still apply.  We will be considering candidates for either a director or manager position depending on experience and ability. 

Qualifications

• 3-10 years experience in graphic design, social media marketing, or in progressive traditional marketing roles
  
• Ability to manage multiple projects and demands simultaneously
  
• Proficiency with In Design, Microsoft Outlook, and the Office 365 Suite
  
• Proficiency with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn
