We are currently seeking Assistant Restaurant Managers to join our team. We bring together caring, warm, fun, and intelligent people who love to serve, and who represent our mission to pursue our purpose in hospitality. This is an excellent career growth opportunity for a food service professional with 2-3 years of management experience and a desire to learn, grow, and lead others.
As a assistant manager, you will be responsible for leading and driving the daily operations. In addition, you will oversee the dining room operations to ensure a positive guest experience. You will be responsible for leading our Team Members and championing our culture in your local community. To help you get there, our training programs provide the tools you need for success combined with hands on application of all manager functions.
What You'll Need:
- 2-3 years of Restaurant Management experience in a high-volume and fast paced environment
- Ability to speak English fluently and Korean preferably
- Warm, caring and positive leadership that drives hospitality and inspires others to do so
- A skill for learning, coaching and inspiring excellence at all levels
- A desire to learn and train others on all aspects of PORKFOLIO Korean BBQ operations
- Broad understanding of hospitality, human resource, financial, marketing, and branding and aspects of the business
- Must be able to work independently, under pressure and use sound business judgement
- Problem solving, reasoning, motivation, and organizational abilities
- Open, flexible availability
What You'll Do:
- Train, lead and develop our team to achieve excellence in guest experience and hospitality
- Manage all functions of our daily checklist and shift operations
- Drive excellence and standards with inventory, quality and safety
- Handle scheduling, payroll, and labor management
- Food and Beverage product procurement and management
- Facility and equipment support and supervision
- Fostering positive relationships between PORKFOLIO Korean BBQ and the community
- Support General Manager regarding restaurant operation
