Description
Quaglino’s has been the star of St. James’s since it opened all the way back in 1929. With an impressive menu of European classics, as well as an extensive drinks list and famous cocktails, Quaglino's also hosted live music and DJs on the grand stage until late. Synonymous with style and glamour, Quaglino’s boasts two ornate private dining rooms.

We are currently recruiting for a Live Music & Entertainment Manager ready to come up with creative sales initiatives in order to drive the key music nights across the venues.

Your main duties as a Live Music & Entertainment Manager our would involve:
• Liaising with senior GM to ensure the program stays within given budgets or seeking his approval if overspend is looking likely.
• Have an existing and ever-evolving database of high-quality professional artists & bands – covers, emerging and breakthrough,
artist management, agencies, DJ’s, promoters that can be called upon to provide anything from a breakthrough artist to a
burlesque or drag act and anything in between. Current key contacts would include major artist labels & agencies, emerging
artists, musical theatre performers, DJ’s and DJ agencies, cabaret agencies, burlesque, drag, dancers, carnival, tribute, musicians to
perform with DJ’s, acts or artists whom you could request to create a tribute or a house band exclusively for the venue etc.
• Overseeing/supporting the production and marketing of special live events
• Being creative, researching and developing new concepts and revenue streams to take our live music programs to the next level
whilst consistently changing our offering
• Liaising with operations teams at all venues to maximise revenue and guest experience of live events
• Undertaking site visits and meetings with potential artists, promoters and hirers
• Liaising with the marketing teams to create photography/videography briefs for live events and feeding back on video edits,
photos etc.
• Liaising with marketing team to create quarterly strategies for marketing & PR hooks.
• Be present for 3 sales and marketing meetings weekly, offering an update of Live Music activity and ideas/strategy for new
formats.
• Attend live nights and networking events as a representative of our venues to create new contacts and spread awareness of the
live music program.
• Liaising with finance to ensure all acts are registered for payment and paid in a timely manner
• Create bands for special events on occasion if bringing headlines from overseas
• Social media savvy and creative at writing exciting marketing blurbs for live events
