Iconic Rainbow Room offers guests an unforgettable experience with its legendary views, service and refined contemporary cuisine that have defined New York City glamour for over 80 years. Bar Sixty Five, the highest outdoor terrace bar in New York City creates an elevated bar experience 65 stories above the landmark Rockefeller Center. Bar Sixty Five at Rainbow Room offers playful bistro fare and curated cocktails in a polished vintage gem framed by awe-inspiring urban views.
What's required:
-Take orders for and serve all food and beverage requests
-Knowledge of the appropriate table settings and service ware
-Ensure station and table set-ups are complete and perform various side duties as assigned
-Experience in suggestive selling techniques
-Knowledge of spirits, wines and cocktails
-Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas
What it takes….
-Required 2 years server experience in fine dining and/or upscale lounge
-Passionate about providing an excellent guest service experience
-Work to understand, meet and exceed guests expectations
-Exude in a team environment
-Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
-Possess computer skills
-Must have open availability including early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays
-Must be willing to work as necessary in changing climate conditions (outdoor work)
-Maintain a positive attitude in the work environment
-Must have availability to work at least 3 shifts, Sunday through Friday, late evenings beyond 12 a.m.
-Call time for this position is 3:00 pm. You must be available to start at that time.

-A significant portion of the work day requires walking and standing
-Must be able to exert well-paced ability in limited space
-Must able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch
-Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs on a regular and continuing basis
