Description
At Rocco's Tavern, we have a passion for what we do and strive to deliver an outstanding guest experience every time. Whether it's a championship game with a packed house, a social gathering of coworkers for happy hour or a sweet sixteen birthday party, we want to exceed expectations and keep our patrons coming back for more! Our success in achieving this goal relies on each staff member's strong skill sets, constant communication within the team and support from all staff members regardless of their position. Our company truly exhibits a team atmosphere where no position is more important or significant than another.

Ideal candidates will have 3-4+ years experience in full-service bar & restaurant, as well as a vibrant & upbeat personality, exceptional customer service and work ethics, and above all a can-do attitude. Our bar managers do serve tables as well sometimes, so you must be willing and able to get out behind the bar and work the floor simultaneously when needed.

Responsibilities:

- Receive and provide drink orders from patrons and wait staff in a timely manner
- Efficiently execute opening and closing manager procedures
- Ability to delegate and oversee both front of house and back of house staff at all times
- Able to diffuse situations in a calm manner and ensure excellent guest experience
- Assist GM to ensure operations are ran smoothly on a daily basis in various aspects
- Must have knowledge of spirits, beers and wines, including cocktails
- Ability to multitask and provide constant awareness of the whole restaurant and bar
- Enforce company policies and constant communication with the GM
- Check patrons I.D.s
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Requirements:

- Minimum 4 years bartending experience
- 2+ management experience in fast paced bar and/or restaurant
- Mixology experience is a plus
- T.I.P.S. and ServSafe certification required
- Knowledge in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Aloha or similar POS experience is a plus
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and stay calm under pressure
- Schedule flexibility
- Open to directions and change but still able to provide personal input
