Description
Prepares and serves beverages to guests in bar area in a warm, hospitable and timely manner. Educates guests on beverage and food recipes and walk them through the dining experience in a friendly, courteous and timely manner. Adheres to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests. Detects and acts upon guests’ inebriation as trained. Demonstrates knowledge of liquor laws. Promotes a clean, safe and neat environment for guests.
•Greets guests in a courteous, friendly manner and educates guests on various food and beverage programs available.
•Checks guests at the bar for proper identification.
•Takes and/or processes orders for drinks; mixes, garnishes and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes; practices prudent portion control.
• Receives cash from guests, makes change, verifies validity of charges, records charges and ensures vouchers are properly executed.
• Performs other duties as assigned and follows managers’ instructions.
